Period. Otherwise you won’t get better at playing the class which it ultimately comes down to. A B tier scrapper could potentially get MVP over S+ tier classes if it is played well and the player knows the mechanics etc. Deathblade, shadow hunter, berserker, sorc are really fun to level, because they don't require you to think at all during the leveling phase, it's just a straight playstyle with eye-candy skills. Nice, that sounds right up my alley. Sorc looks super fun but I worry the experience may be too similar to artillerist. Gunslinger can be another good choice, though you're squishy, you have plenty of mobility, and your range on snipe can help you get uptime on mechanics. So at least for gunlancer the class doesn't really feel fun till you get the actual abilities your class will use (level 30 and so on). I feel like I'm playing a Bayonetta/DMC type of game where I try to go for the most stylish kills possible without letting the enemies touch the ground. Also the skills just flow really well together. It's a lot less "assassin" than I was expecting, but it's still really fun.
